Alexis M Badger aka Aundria M Bowman, adopted name, a loving and vibrant 14 y.o. was intentionally murdered by her adopter Dennis Lee Bowman. This heartbreaking incident is personal to me, Cathy Terkanian, her biological mother, and many others who cared about her.
The circumstances surrounding her adoption, we believe, require a critical reassessment. Given the disturbing findings that surround her disappearance and the subsequent discovery of her remains in 2020, buried in the backyard of Dennis and Brenda Joy Bowman for 30 plus years, it is reasonable to ask her adoption be annulled.
The senseless murder of Alexis forces us to rethink how adoptions are managed and monitored. We owe her and ourselves the truth about what led to her tragic demise.
Please sign the petition to urge the authorities in Norfolk, VA. where her adoption took place to annul the adoption of Alexis and investigate the true nature of her adoption.
We require full transparency, as it is critical in ensuring that we can fully mourn our loss and continue Alexis M Badger's legacy.
Alexis M Badger aka Aundria M Bowman my very beloved child, was brutally taken from me due to the actions of adoptive persons, Dennis Lee Bowman, as witnessed and unimpeded by adoptive person, Brenda Joy Bowman. As the grieving REAL mother of Alexis, I am tirelessly seeking justice for my daughter, part of which includes reclaiming her remains currently with Brenda Joy Bowman, who should have no rightful claim to them!
The pain of losing a child is unimaginable. Something no parent should have to suffer. In these horrific circumstances it is my duty and right to obtain my beloved child's remains as an integral part of my grieving process and to offer peace to Alexis. It's high time that her remains are returned to me because I will honor her memory!
